BROWSER PRIVACY & FINGERPRINT TESTING
WebGL Fingerprint Test
Read the WebGL parameters exposed by your browser to understand which graphics and driver details are visible.

Which graphics details are tested?
The page creates a WebGL context and reads its version, shading language, extension count and maximum texture size. Unmasked vendor and renderer are read only when WEBGL_debug_renderer_info is available; otherwise they are marked protected. The hash summarizes these parameters, not pixels from a complex 3D scene.
Graphics information and privacy
A GPU name is an environment signal, not a device serial number. Remote desktops, virtual machines, software rendering and driver updates can change it. Disabling WebGL can affect maps, visualizations and web apps, so evaluate settings against your actual needs.
Frequently asked questions
Is protected an error?
No. It means the debug extension did not provide unmasked information. Browser policy can restrict this access.
Does the WebGL test need a plugin?
No. It uses the browser WebGL API and reports unavailable when the API is unsupported or disabled.
