Inspect your browser identity and, where supported, compare it with Client Hints and runtime feature probes.
User Agent check
What can a User Agent tell you?
A User Agent is a compatibility string supplied by the browser. It may describe the browser, OS and device class. It can be changed or reduced, so it is not a trusted device identity. Client Hints are also supplied by the browser, not independent hardware attestation.
Limits of version comparison
Feature probes compare capabilities using the implemented Chromium version rules. Experiments, enterprise policies, backports and new releases can affect the inference. A mismatch calls for investigation and does not by itself prove fraud or automation.
Frequently asked questions
Why are Client Hints unavailable?
Browser support, privacy policy and the security context affect API availability. When absent, the User Agent provides limited fallback information.
Does changing my User Agent change my entire fingerprint?
No. Screen, Canvas, WebGL, language and network paths are separate signals. Changing one string does not automatically change them.
