BROWSER PRIVACY & FINGERPRINT TESTING
Browser Security Check
Review security settings and permissions observable by this page. This tool does not scan system vulnerabilities, malware or certificate trust chains.
Run the test
Results stay on this page without creating a server report. No plugin required.
Ready when you are. Select Start test.
Which settings can a web page check?
A page can read its connection protocol, isSecureContext, some site permission states and API support. A secure context enables certain browser features; it does not prove the OS or other websites are secure. Browsers may also treat localhost as trustworthy.
What to review after the test
Check update status in your browser, revoke unnecessary site permissions and review extension sources. To investigate network exposure through a VPN or proxy, continue with the WebRTC and DNS tests.
Frequently asked questions
Can this tool detect viruses?
No. A web-page check does not replace system security software, vulnerability assessment or the browser update check.
Does a disabled API indicate a vulnerability?
Not necessarily. Privacy settings, browser compatibility or enterprise policy may restrict an API. Interpret it in the context of the environment.
