BROWSER PRIVACY & FINGERPRINT TESTING
Canvas Fingerprint Test
Render text, shapes and transparency on this device, then inspect the Canvas image hash and consistency across two renders.
Run the test
Results stay on this page without creating a server report. No plugin required.
Ready when you are. Select Start test.
How this Canvas fingerprint is generated
The test draws fixed content on a 420 × 120 canvas, reads PNG data and computes a SHA-256 hash. Font substitution, text antialiasing, graphics implementations or privacy interventions may change it. Compare the hash only with results using the same rendering procedure.
Stable, changed and unavailable results
Stable means the two render hashes match within this run; it does not establish trackability. Changes may come from randomization or rendering state. Failed reads are shown as unavailable. Repeat the test in normal and private windows.
Frequently asked questions
Is my Canvas hash a unique identity?
No. Different devices can produce the same hash, and the same device can produce a different hash after software or settings change.
Is the Canvas image uploaded?
This tool page generates and displays the result in your browser without calling the report upload endpoint.
