Chrome on Windows User Agent Check Guide
Understand Chrome on Windows User Agent compatibility tokens and compare your actual browser values with Client Hints and runtime capabilities.
By BrowserCheakCompatibility tokens are not exact identity
A Chrome-on-Windows UA often includes Windows NT, AppleWebKit, Chrome and Safari tokens. This is a compatibility string, not evidence of several browsers running at once. The OS token does not necessarily identify the current Windows product version.
Compare values from your current browser
Open the User Agent tool to read the full string and available Client Hints. Instead of publishing a potentially stale latest-Chrome string to copy, the tool shows the values of the browser making the visit.
What changing only a UA leaves unchanged
Replacing a UA does not automatically change graphics, fonts, language or network egress. For compatibility testing, record override rules and verify with feature detection. A consistent result is not identity authentication.
