One Mac can produce different results

Safari, Firefox and Chromium browsers expose different APIs and privacy policies. Compare browsers on the same Mac before investigating hardware or OS changes. A missing memory hint does not mean physical memory is unavailable.

Retina, resolution and viewport

CSS pixel dimensions differ from physical pixel dimensions. Pixel ratio, zoom and display settings all affect results. Record changes after switching monitors and avoid inferring an exact Mac model from one screen value.

Checks after system updates

Rerun Canvas, WebGL and font checks after updates. A rendering hash change shows that this test input or output changed; it does not by itself establish a different device identity.
