Separate browser brand from engine

An Edge UA may include both Chromium compatibility markers and an Edge brand marker. The test separates browser identity, Client Hints and applicable runtime comparisons rather than identifying the brand from a Chrome token alone.

Enterprise environment effects

Managed-device policies can restrict APIs, extensions or network paths. Review management settings when permissions differ from a personal device. Remote desktops and virtual machines may use software graphics rendering and change WebGL parameters.

Record results around updates

After an update, compare User Agent and graphics fields while keeping window size consistent. If a corporate VPN exposes different public candidates, review split-routing policy before concluding that the VPN failed.
