Chrome Browser Fingerprint and Privacy Tests

Check Chrome User Agent, Client Hints, Canvas, WebGL and WebRTC. Compare signals before and after profile, extension or privacy-setting changes.

Start with browser identity

Open the User Agent test in Chrome and record the UA and any available Client Hints. Both are supplied by the browser. Runtime comparisons can reveal conflicts but do not replace the official version screen. Treat missing high-entropy hints as unavailable.

Graphics, fonts and profiles

Record Canvas and WebGL hashes and the renderer. A new profile or cleared cookies do not guarantee different graphics results. To compare extension effects, keep device, zoom and window size fixed, enable extensions individually and rerun the tests.

Proxies and WebRTC

After connecting a proxy or VPN, separately check WebRTC and DNS against expected egress. An unchanged graphics hash does not indicate VPN failure; the tests measure different layers.
